For each candle sale, diptyque will contribute 10% to the Global Fund to help eliminate AIDS in Africa. Which, to be honest, seems a little skimpy for a $68 candle, but that's neither here nor there.
Wek is no stranger to lending her beautiful face to African charities; she is a tireless campaigner for the US Committee for Refugees' Advisory Council, and wrote an autobiography detailing her journey from poverty in Sudan to, well, shilling for overpriced candles.
