UPDATE: [Best $10 I Ever Spent: Support Haiti]

We all know we're lucky to live in New York, not least because we are privy to clean water, top hospitals, and excellent emergency response in case of disaster. And we're also lucky to have enough resources to be able to help when disaster strikes somewhere else.-

Here are five easy, fast ways you can help Haiti with a click of a button:

Text "HAITI" to "90999" to donate $10 to the Red Cross.

The US State Department put together this number, which channels relief contributions directly to first responders on the ground.

As we stated this morning, text "Yele" to 501501 to donate $5 to Yele Haiti, Wyclef Jean's foundation.

Wyclef himself is already in Haiti, doing what he can to help with the aftermath.

Donate to Partners in Health by clicking HERE

Partners In Health are already on the ground in Haiti, mobilizing their relief efforts.

Donate to Architecture for Humanity by clicking HERE

Architecture for Humanity has outposts in nearly ever developing world location, and is dedicated to providing shelter and relief for disaster sites.

Donate to Charity:Water by clicking HERE

A New York Favorite, Charity:Water aims to bring clean water to the 1 billion people on earth who don't have access to it. Every dollar contributed goes directly fully and immediately to their relief work.

If you know of any other worthy relief efforts, please email chiara@guestofaguest.com, and we'll happily add to the list.
