Last night, a secret speakeasy, formerly Mr. Black, served Milk and Honey inspired libations to the city's designers and the people who love their frocks. Benefiting Designers for Darfur, the evening brought some eviable threads to the red carpet, along with Keith Lissner, Malcolm Harris, Sabrina Chapman, Rachelle Hruska, Caroline McCarthy and Christina Marchuska. While cocktailing, the attendees had the chance to mingle with acclaimed director Roberto Monticello, who premiered his latest film, part of the effort to draw attention to the travesties confronting Darfur, presently. A good cause looks so much better when dressed to the nines.
