Given the fact that he was married to a supermodel for over 20 years and, of course, was a fashion icon in himself, it shouldn't really be a surprise that David Bowie was a certified Met Gala vet. He's arrived on the arm of Iman multiple times through the years, taking a dapper turn on the carpet and apparently garnering enough approval from Miss Anna Wintour to keep getting invited back. As we look forward to tonight's futuristic iteration of the annual gala, let us first look back at Bowie being belle of the ball. He certainly will be missed this time around.
