She thinks that the HPV vaccine can cause mental retardation (without evidence to support this) and also thinks that you can "pray the gay away."
Factor which may influence her standing in the polls: She has the support of a small section of voters in the Republican party as a Tea Party candidate, but to win the primary, she'll have to broaden her base.
