The Couture Council Young Patrons, led by co-founders Lizzie Asher and Adrien Gardner Lesser, pulled together an unsurprisingly stylish crowd to fête the Museum at FIT's new Food & Fashion exhibition.
The must-see show features all sorts of looks a la mode, exploring the impact of food and food culture on fashion. Moschino's take on Mcdonald's golden arches, Perry Ellis's picnic-print suit complete with ants, Judith Leiber crystal-covered fruit minaudière.
Designer Cynthia Rowley made the rounds, checking in on her corn and tomato printed dresses from a 1993 collection, the latter she's been hearing more and more requests to bring back following this past season's Tomato Girl Summer craze. Designer and chef Stephanie Nass took a particular shining to a Chanel clutch fashioned out of bistro plates.
Feast your eyes on the exhibition until November 26th.
