With a champagne toast, concession-stand popcorn, and movie-themed cocktails by Gerber Bars like "Inception" (with absinthe, no doubt), Refinery 29 hosted an Oscar party at the W Union Square.  Guests included Refinery 29's NYC editor Kristian Laliberte, "Milk&Mode" blogger Carol Han, and designers Timo Weiland and Jonathan Simkhai who sat on a panel discussing the night's best and worst fashions.

Attendees watched the red carpet and awards ceremony on two large screens while HollywoodLife.com and Movieline.com live-blogged the goings-on. Perhaps to anesthetize themselves against the James Franco-Anne Hathaway debacle, revelers drank cocktails by 42Below Vodka and Moet Hennessey.
