Last night the city rocked a bit through the storms not due to the weather but from the opening party for Bright Young Things. The new art and fashion exhibit took place at the MINA Gallery in Cooper Square.
The new exhibit features new diamond dust paintings from Not a Gallery. Also curated from the Albright Fashion Library, the exhibit focuses on iconic 1960s figures like Bridget Bardot, Steve McQueen, Grace Kelly, Twiggy, Jackie Kennedy, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Paul Newman. It also features mannequins curated by Julia von Boehm, Peter Davis, Kristian Laliberte, David Lipke, Andrew Lutjens, Luigi Tadini, Patti Wilson and more. Complimentary cocktails and music were provided by BAKER. Designer Timo Weiland was the special guest and commanded the tunes for the evening.
