At the National Arts Club event last night, Steven Rosenbaum signed copies of his latest book, Curation Nation, a heavily researched analysis of how creation and curation function in our consumer society. Arianna Huffington noted:

"Steve Rosenbaum is an evangelist for the transformational power of curation done right...acknowledging the power of creation while respecting the rules of the road. Curation Nation combines a true believer's passion with a clear-eyed practicality, and the result is an indispensable guide to the brave new media world."

In honor of their 40th Anniversary, the New York Foundation for the Arts held a Community Party. Contemporary artist Brian Farrell, a favorite guest star on "The Real Housewives of New York City," hosted the affair at the lovely Chelsea Modern. The Bubble Lounge generously provided drinks for the attendees. Other noted guests were filmmaker Yunah Hong, multidisciplinary artist Lenore Malen, photographer Abby Robinson and writer Ronna Wineberg. The NYFA was created in 1971 to empower artists at critical stages in their creative careers.
