Paris Fashion Week is off to a glamorous and unpredictable start. Let's check in on the front rows of the always avant-garde and beautiful Dior, RM by Roland Mouret, Balmain and Nina Ricci shows.-
At Nina Ricci, French actress Audrey Marnay and Repossi Joailliers heiress Gaia Repossi hinted that a jewelry collaboration is in the works for them. Charlie Chaplin's granddaughter, Dolores, spoke about her latest film, in which she plays Bollywood version of Holly Golightly.(That's...an interesting choice.) Raphaelle Agogue discussed the "agony" of having to choose between Hermès and Alberta Ferretti for her latest premiere.
Meanwhile, at Roland Mouret the French starlets keep on coming. Roxane Mesquida discussed how she is acting all over the world. She just wrapped three movies in the US. In one of the flicks, Kaboom from Gregg Araki, she plays a lesbian witch. “I loved it, especially working with Gregg Araki. You can’t be a lesbian witch for just anyone,” she said.
Someone that's famous in America was finally spotted at Christian Dior! Charlize Theron, spokesmodel for the brand, happily posed with John Galliano and Bernard Arnault. She confirmed the obvious by saying she will be wearing Dior to this Sunday's Academy Awards. Jared Leto and model Estelle Lefebure were also catching the extravagant runway show.
Gaia Repossi reemerged at Balmain showing off an oxidized gold ring from her new collection with Alexander Wang. Also sitting front-and-center was Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, who made no mention of her mom's apparent "blacklisting" from Balenciaga.
