Lower East Side staple Katz's Delicatessen may already be the late-night go-to for famously orgasmic eats, but this weekend, the iconic deli hosted a pastrami party like no other.
A horde of downtown cool kids flooded the spot on Sunday night for "Katz's After Dark," a secret bash hosted by Red Bull as part of their Summer Sessions series. With the lights turned down and the tunes turned up, headlining DJs Joey Saturday, Mona Matsuoka, Gonnie Garko, and, yes, freakin' Diplo successfully transformed the place into a full-blown nightclub. Disco ball and plenty of Casa Del Sol tequila cocktails included.
And since a night at Katz's wouldn't be complete without snacks, attendees were able to satisfy their dance floor drunchies with pickles, latkes, and, of course, some rave-worthy sandwiches.
