Where better to celebrate the best of New York than The Plaza Hotel?
Earlier this month the New York City Tourism Foundation honored distinguished leaders from the City’s aviation, health care, hospitality and cultural industries at its 21st annual Gala. The exciting soirée, which raised more than $600,000, brought together a wide swath of New Yorkers who've significantly contributed to the city's tourism industry to benefit the Borough Cultural Tourism Development Grant Program, which supports audience development for cultural organizations.
“For more than 20 years, the New York City Tourism Foundation Gala has placed a spotlight on leaders and businesses who continue to make tourism a driving force in the City’s economy, while supporting the cultural institutions that make up the fabric of our industry,” shared Fred Dixon, President and CEO of New York City Tourism + Conventions.
This year's honorees included United Airlines, Greater New York Hospital Association, Liz Neumark and Great Performances, and The Apollo's Jonelle Procope.
