Last night, Joan's Legacy, the founding partner of Uniting Against Lung Cancer held their annual benefit to highlight lung cancer awareness month at Gotham Hall.
Joan's Legacy is named after Joan Scarangello, a 47-year-old nonsmoker who lost her nine month battle with lunch cancer in 2001. Uniting Against Lung Cancer is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to funding innovative lung cancer research that will help patients win their battles with lung cancer and lead healthy, cancer-free lives years after diagnosis.
