Nowhere else on any given Tuesday night in New York would you find men in black tie and women in gowns all sprinting down the street but at Lincoln Center. That 7PM performance start time is no mere suggestion!
The occasion for last week's sidewalk race? The New York Philharmonic's annual Lunar New Year Concert and Gala, where guests welcomed in the Year of the Dragon.
Following the evening's special concert, which featured the World Premiere of Elliot Leung’s Lunar Overture, Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1, and selections from Zhou Tian’s Transcend, the formal flock of supporters enjoyed a three-course dinner on the Grand Promenade of David Geffen Hall.
Curious to see who wore what to the uptown affair?
