Thailand native Pinaree Sanpitak is one of Southeast Asia's foremost artists. Since she began showcasing her pieces in 1987, she has been a force on the art scene. Her first New York exhibition has just opened at Tyler Rollins Fine Art.

Dozens of friends and fans came out to support Pinaree, who was dressed in an innovative kimono-style outfit. The central focus of her exhibit, and entire collection, is the breast. She relates it to the imagery of the natural world and Buddhism. Pieces range from paintings to sculpture to culinary arts.
