Lifetime Networks and VOICE have teamed up to release Secrets of Powerful Women: Leading Change for a New Generation, a collection of twenty-four essays by influential and recognized women. Last night at the IAC Building, guests (including Kerry Washington) came together for the official after party.

The list of women who wrote for the compilation book are as random as they are powerful. Rosario Dawson contributed the introduction, while Fran Drescher wrote an essay. Obama's senior advisor, Betsy Myers, and three Republican congresswomen all added their stories.
What they all have in common, though, is that they want to inspire young women by leading an example through this book. We're curious as to how many of these women will end up with a movie-of-the-week chronicling their life?
