On Thursday, April 26th, Prismacolor threw a send-off party for the 2012 Sketchbook Project. Hosted at the Brooklyn Art Library, guests were invited to wish all 7,000 sketchbooks “bon voyage” and become the first to participate in Tour Mail, Prismacolor’s new creative project.
Tour Mail is an ongoing interactive art project that lives and travels with the Art House Co-op's Sketchbook Project. Guests can create a piece of art for a stranger using hundreds of Prismacolor markers and send it to any destination on the World Tour. At each tour stop, participants have the opportunity to create a piece of Tour Mail and then receive one in return.
