A little rain couldn't stop the Upper East Side set from celebrating at the Frick Collection's annual Spring Garden Party. In fact, the showers really did bring out all the flowers (just wait until you see the ensembles!). Though the affair, which marks the only time a year guests are given access to the mansion's Fifth Avenue garden overlooking Central Park, was brought indoors for most of the evening, the iconic garden court served as the perfect alternative.

Fellows and young fellows toasted refreshing Tito's Vodka cocktails and champagne around the center fountain, tore up the dance floor in the Music Room, and wandered through the galleries taking in the museum's newest exhibition, Elective Affinities: Edmund de Waal at The Frick Collection. The contemporary installation by the acclaimed writer and artist features site-specific works made of porcelain, steel, gold, marble, and glass displayed throughout the space. Attendees also took the rare opportunity to explore the second-floor rooms once belonging to Henry Clay Frick. The night certainly ended on a high note when the party was finally able to head outside for a post-rain nightcap in the garden.

Of course, one of the most exciting parts of the soiree was the fashion. From fascinators to flower crowns, floral frocks to bright gowns, the evening's best dressed wore springtime on their sleeves.
