Sartorial scenesters gathered at The Danziger Gallery to celebrate The Art Of Shaving’s latest line of luxury washroom products, The Chelsea Collection. Celebrating Chelsea’s unique energy, fusing art with life, The Art of Shaving tapped The Sartorialist’s Scott Schuman to capture the spirit of Chelsea.

“The inspiration was more to understanding why men style their facial hair in a certain way, how it makes them feel and how that translates into their everyday life. These images reflect the gentlemen on the streets of Chelsea, confident men who express themselves through their classic grooming style but in a present way,”

    Schuman explained of the collaboration.

Schuman’s images, typically viewed on a 13” screen courtesy of Apple, were blown-up to scale the expansive walls of the Danziger Gallery in Chelsea. The portraits were cropped to zero-in on the subjects’ facial hair, radiating personality.
