The New Museum's Brazilian Gala In New York

    Ahn Duong, Francisco Costa, Derek Blasberg, Leelee Sobieski, Amanda Brooks, Desiree Rogers, and Terrence Koh were among the guests who, dressed in anything but black, partied at the tip-top of 7 World Trade for the New Museum's Spring Gala.-

    The theme of the event was inspired "by the sounds and tastes of Brazil". Guests were instructed to wear the most colorful clothing possible, and most were all too happy to throw aside the dark-hued standards of winter wear for a more tropical look. The evening began with Sunset cocktails at the top floor of Seven World Trade, where guests 360 degree views of of lower Manhattan. At 8 pm, guests were called into dinner, where they were treated to a dinner menu of "Nuevo Churrascaria".

    400 people attended the afterparty, co-chaired by Lorenzo Martone. Caipririnhas were served, of course, and and guests danced to Brazilian music.
