This Thursday's MAD Ball Is Set To Be An Art-Filled Affair!

This year's MAD Ball may be going digital, but it's still sure to be the talk of the town.

While the Museum of Arts and Design’s much anticipated MAD Ball has historically been a see-and-be-seen affair, it's really always been far more about the Benefit Auction. This years auction which will be live on Artsy until October 16th and features a generously donated collection of fabulous pieces - from photos and paintings to handbags and jewelry.

Personally, we know we'll be incredibly jealous of whoever ends up with a work by the evening's honoree Judy Chicago. I mean, how amazing is her Butterfly for Brooklyn print or this custom Mini Lady Dior Bag!?

All funds raised by the auction items directly support the Museum’s efforts to provide a platform for today's most innovative artists. Artists like Kevin Hees - a young, emerging talent the MAD Ball is very excited to be collaborating with as a Benefit Artist.

This Thursday's festivities will be live on Zoom for all to enjoy from the comfort of home beginning at 6:30PM, with a select group of small, in-person watch parties.

Regardless of whether or not you feel like dressing the part (black tie pajamas, anyone?), you will not want to miss out on the night's special appearances by the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Brooklyn Museum, and the evening's exclusive party playlist by Timo Weiland.
