Vogue and Christie's teamed up to host "Runway to Green" a charity auction that raised over $1.2 million. The event brought out New York City's most elite fashionistas and socialites from Anna Wintour to Michael Kors to Olivia Palermo and Amanda Hearst. Read more about this event inside!

Funds raised during the evening were donated to Oceana, the Natural Resources Defense Council, Conservation International and the Central Park Conservancy. To go with the "green" theme the first floor or Christie's was transformed into a Zen-inspired cocktail lounge lined with bamboo poles and plexiglass pedestals filled with flora. Seth Meyers was the master of ceremonies for the evening which included a performance by Nicki Minaj with her green dyed hair, a runway show featuring pieces from Balenciaga, Burberry, Gucci, Prada, Marc Jacobs, Yves Saint Laurent and others, and a live auction with lots like "a day with President William J. Clinton". The goal of the night was to fund conservation efforts especially in the wake of recent environmental catastrophes. Pieces from the runway event will also be up for sale on Net-A-Porter.
