The Resolve Gala was the place to be last Thursday night as social entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and business leaders gathered for an evening of philanthropy, special performances and social entrepreneurship. The 10th annual event, presented by The Resolution project celebrates the achievements of Resolution Fellows who have now positively impacted more than 2.5 million people across 80 countries in high-impact areas including women’s empowerment, water access, disaster relief, clean energy, equality, and much more

“Ten years ago, the first-ever Resolve event was held in Manhattan at the Jerome L. Greene Space. The event was attended by fewer than 100 people, celebrating a handful of Fellows. To have grown the event almost tenfold in 10 years is a testament to this incredibly phenomenal team” said Resolution Chair and Co-Founder Oliver Libby

Guest made their way through 'A World of Impact' exhibit which showcased four social ventures through interactive installations ranging from an eight-foot tower of water jugs to a ten-foot curtain of tampons. Later in the night three-time Grammy Award-winning artist Wyclef Jean took to the stage for a particularly memorable show. Before the performance, Resolution Fellow Natalia Salas announced a new partnership between The Resolution Project and Wyclef Jean’s Wyclef Goes Back to School program, which identifies musical talent in universities that could benefit from mentorship and training. Attendees also enjoyed a live and silent auction, music by DJs for Climate Action and an after party at The Box featuring Funk Flex.
