Who: Family Jewels
Where: 130 West 23rd street.
What: This Midtown East vintage store is a favorite of mine. Family Jewels have such a friendly staff and the store's interior is quite eclectic. The store has the tendency to make you think of the closet of a cool older relative who has a crap load of clothes to pass down to you. Each kind of clothing is sectioned off by era so that there is no confusion. Maybe you'll bump into a YSL blazer, maybe a Pucci dress, who knows.
Cool thing to know: They have an extensive collection of gorgeous vintage jewelry.
