Bottega Veneta opens women's-only store
3. Bottega Veneta opened a women's-only store on Madison Avenue. The former spot, which was occupied by Sonia Rykiel, is now officially open. The new store already has the brand's Resort collection (others will get it on November 15) and will carry exclusive one-of-a-kind designs, like the $3,250 Fire Opal Franges Nappa bag. Also in stock at the boutique is the $21,800 non-exclusive Treccia Plume leather Cocco Lave Cabat bag. Bottega President and CEO Marco Bizzarri:
"On Fifth Avenue, we have a flagship that showcases the complete collection, and on Madison Avenue we have a boutique dedicated to a specific customer in the neighborhood where she lives and shops."With the walls covered in suede and the door handles covered in leather, Bottega is definitely trying their best to reach their "specific customer's" needs.
