14 year-old fashion blogger, Tavi Gevinson, swung one out of left field this week by putting a post up about masturbation on her online publication, Rookiemag.com. It's one of those topics that few like to discuss openly, particularly women, so the controversy erupts from the fact that this is a 14 year old girl, who normally talks about clothes, now talking about sex. On top of this, Tavi got her own spot on a TV show; 'How To Make It In America' saw a team of guys designing a t-shirt for a private school that was put up for approval to a "fashion committee", one of which struck an eerie resemblance to Tavi herself, she was even listed in the credits!
