LVMH Takes 22% Stake Over Hermes
7. Bernard Arnault, the chairman and CEO of LVMH, is slowly increasing the company's stake in Hermes and now holds 22.4%. The Hermes family was concerned when LVMH purchased a 14% stake in Hermes last fall, but Arnault assured them that a takeover, public offering, or board seats in the company were not his concern. LVMH gradually increased its holding and now has 16% voting rights.
