You have received a number of awards since your debut, has there been a moment in your career so far that made you feel like you had “made it”?
This one right now! Showing in my own space during NYFW is a dream come true. I really wanted to have the show right here in our offices so that people can see where we work, and that it’s a real company. We are investing from our heart, and it almost feels like we are inviting someone into our home.
Do you also design and produce everything locally?
Yes – we have all of our factories and everything here. Many things are still made in house as well. In fact I still sew some things myself!
