Over the weekend, the city did not sleep. From Alexander Wang's after party at the Emigrant Bank Building to Purple Magazine's party at The Top of the Standard to the Opening Ceremony 10 Year Anniversary at Webster Hall, the city's hippest people headed out on Friday and Saturday night, and all three parties were packed with a good mix of uptowners and downtowners ringing in Fashion Week.

Details: With the elegant Emigrant Bank building as a backdrop, The MADE for Alexander Wang after party, sponsored by Belvedere, drew a wide range of people including models, designers, DJs, actors, and more. The prize for most crowded party of the week goes to Alexander Wang, where the house rocked out during a surprise performance by Busta Rhymes. Busta Rhymes wasn't the only surprise of the evening, though: Milk Studios founder Mazdack Rassi was sucker-punched in the face by another guest. According to the NYPost, Rassi had accidentally stepped on the man's foot before getting "clocked in the face." Rassi was said to have been taken to the hospital, where he received medical attention. Opening Ceremony 10 Year Party, Sponsored by SvedkaWhen: Saturday, September 8 Where: Webster Hall Who was there: Lil Kim, Chloe Sevigny, Jared Leto, Alexander Wang, Andrej Pejić, Paris Hilton, Leigh Lezark, Timo Weiland, Dev Hynes, Humberto Leon, Harley Viera Newton, Mia Moretti, Kristian Laliberte, Carly Cushnie, Annie Georgia Greenberg, Jeremy Scott, and Derek Blasberg. Details: Lil Kim killed it at Webster Hall over the weekend, when Opening Ceremony cofounders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim transformed the gigantic venue into seven of the coolest NYC clubs of last decade to honor the brand's past 10 years.
