Why: For the first time Purple Magazine moved their biannual party from the Top of the Standard to Chez Andre. Whereas past parties featured hundreds of guests hopping between the Boom Boom Room and karaoke at Le Bain, this years party brought it back to basics. A smaller venue meant a select crowd who mostly knew each other, and therefore felt comfortable letting loose at the wildly entertaining dance party.
