Color Blocking

Color blocking was HUGE for Spring/Summer 2012, and so it makes sense that it would continue to have a strong presence for Fall/Winter. Most commonly done with bright shades, color blocked neutrals appeared as well, offering a more subtle way to get in on the trend. *Styling tip: Remember that bright and light colors attract attention, so consider your body type and choose your shades accordingly. For example, if you're bigger on bottom, try a dark plum pant with a yellow top to bring the focus upward and balance your figure.
