4Kinship

After working for years in the fast fashion space, Diné (Navajo) designer Amy Denet Deal (formerly Yeung) pivoted her passion to focus on the sustainable practices more aligned with her values. Her brand 4Kinship specializes in creating handmade upcylced pieces through the restoration and repurposing of one-of-a-kind textiles. Her mission, rooted in consciousness and community, aims to honor her heritage, protect sacred lands, and help others, while creating beautifully unique clothing. In the wake of the COVID crisis, Orenda Tribe has also founded the Dził Asdzáán Command Center, a collective of Diné matriarchs dedicated to providing support for their Diné relatives with meals, PPE, and other aid.
