The '70s were a clear reference point for collections including J.W. Anderson, Loewe, and Gucci, as reflected by flared out trousers, loud suedes and furs peppered in, and belted coats. While the latter has always been a standard on trench coats, designers have adorned their overcoats with belts to create a distinct aesthetic different from the oversized, '50s-style coats that are so popular right now.
