Lesley Lawson, more commonly known by the nickname Twiggy, was a prominent figure in the modeling world during the 1960s. Fittingly so, Twiggy was a skinny alternative to the curvy models of the past. Twiggy became a world-wide trendsetter, as she became the poster girl for 1960's style, which was shaped by the Mod movement. Her pixie hair, headbands, bright, box shaped dresses, and cartoonish eye makeup epitomized the style of the 1960s.
