When you're dating around, you're bound to spend upwards of $2,000 a year. No, seriously, studies have demonstrated this. On top of that, in order to be desirable, you have to maintain appearances. You're not just investing in yourself, you're investing in your love life when you spend hundreds of dollars on getting your hair highlighted or on a pair of sexy Stuart Weitzman heels or even plastic surgery (we kid, really!). And even if you're blessed with good looks, you actually have to GO OUT in order to MEET PEOPLE in order to DATE. Or you could just download a dating app, but meeting someone on Tinder isn't exactly a meet-cute you want to tell your kids about.
