Better for your cholesterol levels than a bowl of Cheerios
A recent study found that participants who consistently ate avocados versus a control group that did not, had a significant drop in cholesterol and triglyceride levels. The avocado munchers saw reduction of both triglycerides and LDL cholesterol by around 20%. So if your cholesterol isn't great, dump some avocado on your next meal. And even if your cholesterol is good, still dump some avocado on anything you eat, because it is damn delicious.
