Why: DANNIJO's Danielle Snyder + Jodie Snyder Morel are rethinking fashion and retail as we know it. Retail is increasingly mundane, and as online shopping continues to grow in popularity, the sisters recognize their strategy has to be both proactive and reactive to the economic environment as well as address today's intersection of content and commerce. The underlying motive for the project is not only to engage directly with their customer base, but also, perhaps more importantly, to reposition the brand and showcase jewelry as a vehicle to ignite conversation, find common ground and make positive change.
