Putting Down Roots: Edible Schoolyard NYC's Second Annual Spring Benefit When: Mon, April 7, 6:00 pm - 11:30 pm Where: 23 Wall Street, New York, NY Why: Edible Schoolyard NYC (ESYNYC) — a nonprofit organization that partners with public schools in underserved areas of NYC to build organic gardens and kitchen classrooms — will host its second annual spring benefit, “Putting Down Roots,” on April 7th at 23 Wall Street in New York City. Momofuku’s David Chang, the event’s Culinary Chair, has curated an incredible list of world-renowned chefs (see below for full list). Each will design and prepare an intimate, open-kitchen, four-course dinner for an individual table. Participating celebs include actor Jake Gyllenhaal, honorary Co-Chair, and musical guest Questlove, who will DJ at the event.
