Why: Fashion Institute of Technology and the FIT Foundation will hold their annual gala on Monday, June 15, 2015, at Cipriani 42nd Street. Actress Debi Mazar will host this year’s gala, which benefits the FIT Educational Development Fund. The fund helps FIT cultivate the next generation of creative leaders through enhancing programs, developing new initiatives, and providing scholarship funds to the college’s most promising students. The gala will honor Saks Fifth Avenue and Edwin A. Goodman, co-founder of Milestone Venture Partners, for their commitment to supporting the future leaders of the fashion and creative industries.
