Your family is a legendary name in the world of sea exploration and preservation. But for a brief stint, you veered away from the family business. What ultimately brought you back?
As children, we were encouraged to explore other than what we were familiar with. My time in economics, business and marketing gave me a good idea of what the rest of the world does and how it functions. Ultimately, for me, what was alluring was the sense of accomplishment. I wanted to be a part of something that was positive for the world at large. It is more of our family philosophy rather than a business.
