With multiple products designed by your friends, how personal of a process was stocking the shelves for you?
It was really fun to be able to partner with friends - Prabal Gurung designed special t-shirts for Clover Grocery, La Ligne created special totes in lieu of grocery baskets, and we sell special sleep masks (and more) from my friend Nell Diamond who started Hill House Home. The entire stocking process was deeply personal because I want to carry things that people love. We started with a list of our dream products, and from there asked people we know and trust for their recommendations for their favorite everything...from spices to face oils to beverages to supplements, and more. There was so much time spent researching, surveying, testing, and tasting, that we came up with a product list that we are really excited about.
