The tail end of the baby boomer generation and Generation X are now to the point when many of their parents are facing mortality. What advice can you give, or what morals can your book deliver, to help people cope with aging parents?
Even when things are hard, look for ways to have fun. I learned dozens of songs so I could sing with my parents at the piano or on ukulele. I found drives we could take. I took my mother shopping for clothes that made her feel better than all the pills on her nightstand. It made them so happy to know I was happy. But I was lucky because they loved me so much.
