What do you think the secret is to longevity and sustaining yourself in this industry?
I think you always have to be open to criticism. I think it's really important to take any kind of criticism on the chin and really turn it around and work with it. I think a lot of people's downfall is that they can't take constructive criticism. They see it in a negative way, rather than the positive it can be. if you are going to ask for advice and put yourself out there, you must be able to listen to that. I think that's really important for people who are young, and I think that having a super strong work ethic is the only way you are going to get anywhere. It sounds silly, but you have to be willing to be at the office at 8 in the morning and leaving at 10 pm. I think that if you see the bigger picture, you understand that this is not the industry for people who want to have a 9 to 5 job. I think it's about having a positive attitude and just being a nice person whenever you possibly can be. You've got to get things done and mentor people, but at the same time, you've got to be as a nice as you possibly can.
