What part of of Nicholas Kristof’s 'Half the Sky' intrigued you and sparked your line of bracelets?
Learning about the challenges and opportunities for women in the developing world contextualized the scenes I had seen on the streets of Cambodia, namely human trafficking. I couldn't believe that slavery existed today and that I had been so unaware. I wanted to create a tactile piece that could embody the idea of freedom and courage, and plant a seed of change.
