You've had some projects that have even been called controversial. We’re a very brave organization. When an artist comes to us and says ‘I need to create awareness around waterboarding,’ I say, you’re right, that’s important. So our job at Creative Time isn't to censor, but to build the support and conversation around those difficult subjects. We've never shied away from controversy. Is that a tough thing to do? It’s not. It’s so much more interesting to take on the tough issues than to shy away from them. And I think that our audiences really have high expectations for Creative Time, and expect us to be transparent and proactive, and if we were to start to shy away from the difficult stuff, we’d lose our core audiences.
