Nomads must pack light. Do you have any tips?
I don't like to pack a lot of stuff, I hate to feel burdened or weighed down. I sort of have a system. You have to get creative and layer and leave enough room to buy new treasures! Suitcase usually looks like this: a good pair of boots, a fabulous hat, a printed scarf, a straw market bag, vintage jumpsuit, Breton tee, Antique afghan dress, classic men's pajamas, leather shorts/trousers, turquoise jewelry, and shell necklaces. And of course, a Bohemia jacket or waistcoat or two! I actually started making jackets because I needed something to travel in that could be comfortable on a long haul flight and be cool over ripped up denim or chic over silk pajamas. I hate being too dressed up and a fabulous coat can transition easily and take the focus off my jet-lagged face! I call it the magpie effect.
