This two part concoction is totally worth the effort. These days, you can't celebrate Halloween without some kind of vampire innuendo. Not sure how the rim drip leaves your lips but for some reason I doubt it's unattractive. Blood Rim 1 c. Sugar 1/2 c. Karo Syrup 1/2 c. Water Red Food Coloring Combine sugar, syrup and water. Cook without stirring to hard crack stage at 300 degrees F. Add food coloring. Turn off heat. While the mixture is still hot, dunk the top of the cocktail glass into the mixture to create the red rim. And fill that bloody glass up with a Vampire Kiss Martini! 1 1/2 oz Vodka 1 1/2 oz Champagne 3/4 oz Chambord red sugar for rimming [Recipe via]
