Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in a busy working schedule and then forget to eat/drink the good stuff. In that case, matcha tea makes the perfect substitute for coffee, as a great source for focused concentration and relaxed energy.
What you'll need: 1 cup hot water 1 tsp organic matcha powder ($27; republicoftea.com) 1 tbsp of coconut oil, blended Directions: 1. Sift matcha tea powder through a tea strainer for a smooth texture, without lumps. Pour 1 cup of hot water into a mixing bowl with the powder. Whip together until it becomes frothy. (Bronfman prefers to use Sharp's Tea-Ceré to brew her cup.) 2. Mix in 1 tbsp of coconut oil to the final product for some extra flavor. (optional).
