On Thursday, November 17, 2016, Passage to Israel, the acclaimed book curated by Karen Lehrman Bloch, was celebrated with an Opening Night Exhibition at Anderson Contemporary, a renowned gallery in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The Opening Night Exhibition included drinks sponsored by Goldstar Beer and Yarden Wines, delicious Hors d'oeuvres, and a special acoustic performance by Matisyahu– all while viewing stunning photos of Israel - landscapes, seascapes, architecture, interiors, and holy sites. Passage to Israel is a timeless tribute to one of the world’s most soulful, resolute, and newsworthy countries. Divided into four sections – Land, Light, Life and Soul – the book exhibits around 200 images of Israel’s landscapes and its cities, its culture and its people, by 34 photographers – most of whom are Israeli. The photographs will be exhibited at Anderson Contemporary until January 6, 2017.
