If you've been wondering why your follower count sucks so much, despite all those fire selfies, it's probably because you're a taker and not a giver. Social media is all about selflessness, even if it doesn't seem like it. You need to follow, like, and comment on other people's posts in order to up your engagement, visibility, and eventually, your amount of followers.
